{"id":35,"date":"2018-08-31T13:53:28","date_gmt":"2018-08-31T19:53:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.hs.iastate.edu\/latte\/?page_id=35"},"modified":"2019-08-08T10:10:47","modified_gmt":"2019-08-08T16:10:47","slug":"research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/research.hs.iastate.edu\/latte\/research\/","title":{"rendered":"Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Latte\u2019s research\u00a0converges the disciplines of educational technology, human computer interaction, and learning sciences to answer complex problems in today\u2019s learning environments.\u00a0 Our research aims to establish effective strategies for the design of\u00a0mobile, online, and flexible learning environments in teacher education, engineering education, and STEM learning\u00a0contexts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research Themes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Multimodal investigation of technology enhanced learning environments:\u00a0<\/strong>The new wave of technological innovations such as wearable sensors and eye trackers enable educational researchers combine data from physical classroom activities and physiological responses with more traditional educational data.
