Many thanks to all who participated!<\/h2>\n<h3>Benefits of this study included:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Learning how one exercise session affects your thoughts and wellbeing<\/li>\n<li>Learning about your physical activity and sedentary habits and receiving some tips on how to improve them<\/li>\n<li>FREE Iowa State campus parking<\/li>\n<li>$60 cash incentive!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Eligible participants were:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Men and women, 20-60 years old<\/li>\n<li>Non-smoker<\/li>\n<li>Currently experiencing depressive symptoms OR free from depressive symptoms<\/li>\n<li>Able to complete a single-bout of 30-minute moderate-intensity exercise<\/li>\n<li>Diagnosed with no other psychological disorders other than depression or generalized anxiety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants will made three visits to our laboratory on Iowa State\u2019s campus during the duration of the study. Each visit was ~2-3 hours and separated from each other by at least one week.
